Michele Reyes is a candidate seeking the East Troy Town Supervisor position for her 3rd term. Michele drives change through questions and leads with transparency and with that brings business best practices to the Town government.
Michele is the proud mom of 2 adult sons who attended East Troy Community Schools in which she was an active participant in the school sports and activities.
Michele ran for a seat on the Town Board when she learned about the new Town Hall being planned/started in 2020. At the time her boys were nearly done with school, COVID shut down most of their activities, so this was an opportunity for her to make a difference in the community.
Michele’s community involvement includes:
• 2 years as village representative on the Library board
• 6 years active on the ET elementary PTO, chairing 2 activities each year
• 2 years as PTO VP, 2 years as PTO President
• 2 years as GOAL of ET secretary
• 2 years as SC43 (soccer club) secretary
• 4 years as ET Home Run Club secretary
• Lifetime member of ET All Sports booster club
• 30 years as a sourcing professional with expertise in RFP/quoting process, negotiations and contracting both goods and services
• Leader in change management
• Elected to the Town Board in April 2021
• Led the Communications Committee to drive change & transparency within the Town
• Drove the Town website update/revamp
• Led the implementation to livestream/video record Town meetings
• Managed the Parks Committee since elected
• Managed the playground equipment RFP, negotiations and implementation
• Currently investigating options for the Town owned Army Lake property
