Joe’s strengths include proactive strategy development, innovative thinking, results-oriented leadership, project management, creative problem solving and a proven record of accomplishments satisfying customer needs. He possesses high energy, is self-motivated, is enthusiastic, a team player and an effective communicator.

Joe’s professional career spans over 38 years; specifically 8 years in Engineering and Engineering Management, 16 years in Direct Sales and Sales Management and 14 years in Executive Leadership roles managing upwards of 110 employees. Joe has professional expertise consulting with customers to develop solutions, many of which were multi-million dollar manufacturing systems. Joe later applied these same skills developing business solutions for organizations. In addition, he has a distinct skill in managing staff at multiple levels to support a profitable business. Joe has since retired from his professional career and plans to apply these same problem solving skills, consultative approaches and management styles in his Chairman role for the Town of East Troy.

Joe has a passion for volunteering and supporting local communities and organizations that align with principles of freedom, opportunity, fiscal responsibility, public safety and liberty for all. Jones states, “Get involved and make a difference.” Volunteering activities include; Cub Scout Cub Master (100 boys; 10 dens), Girls Basketball Coach (5th, 6th & 7th grades), Youth Ministry board, Church Food Pantries, and more. Joe has attended numerous East Troy Community School District (ETCSD) board meetings and was a member of the ETCSD 2023-2024 Community Facilities Advisory Committee. Joe is running for Town Chairman to improve town operating efficiencies, to stabilize the ever increasing town budget and to promote even more town transparency, communication and accountability. Jones said there were two statements made by town leadership since 2022 which motivated him to run for office. The two statements include, “If you ever discover how to get more town resident participation, let us know,” and “That’s how we have always done it.” Jones promises as Chairman to work each day with a full understanding that he works for the 4,000+ town residents. He will strive to find better ways to educate the residents on critical issues facing the town and to collaboratively facilitate/implement solutions in the most economical and effective manner. This is how Jones hopes to garner more citizen participation and move beyond what has been done in the past.
